A natural consequence of success of the play, A Febre do Samba presented itself as a Bloco parading two weeks before carnival.

In addition to all its cast, the Bloco also has 80 more percussionists, chosen among the best in Rio de Janeiro, mixed with students formed by the Rio Percussão classes.

Always performing two weeks before the carnival, the O Bloco da Febre became a meeting point for samba artists from various samba schools of Rio de Janeiro.
