Founded in 2004, under the direction of Guilherme Gonçalves, Rio Percussão disseminate and teach the various aspects of popular and contemporary percussion.
In addition to promoting courses (Drumset, Percussion, Snare Drum Technique and Brazilian Percussion), we also promote clinics and masters classes with renowned drummers and percussionists.
We are responsible for A Febre do Samba, a play about the origin of the Brazilian most important music style: samba.
We are also the headquarters of the Rio Percussion Project, a project who brings to Brazil percussionists interested in learning Brazilian percussion and culture.
In 2014, for the Soccer World Cup, along with Guiza Produções we produced the video Batuque.
